Seed Drive For Ruiz Biblioteca de las Americas

The Ruiz Branch of the Kansas City Public Library hosts an amazing collection of seeds, gardening resources, and books in Spanish and English, all free to check out with your library card. It's also the first Kansas City Public Library branch that Wick worked at! Working in the Westside library changed Wick's life and opened up a lifelong passion for libraries. Now we want to give back!

Our campaign is all about benefitting the community and we need your help! We're hosting a seed drive to restock the seed library at the Irene H Ruiz Biblioteca de las Americas. Bring any extra seeds you have and help us cultivate something beautiful in Kansas City. Drop in any time between Noon and 2pm at the library to donate!

This event is NOT being organized by the Kansas City Public Library. This independent event is being planned and organized by Wick Thomas For Missouri, Phyllis Hernandez, Treasurer.
