About James Williams

Hello, I am James Williams a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner and your Democratic candidate for MO State Representative, seat #54. My core message is I have worked 40 years to make people’s lives better; 20 of those years active duty in the U.S. Public Health Service. As your Representative I will work every day to serve all my constituents. I have chosen to run for office to protect your access to quality health care in rural communities. I also support our family farms with equal access to markets. Family income needs to be raised and I will work tirelessly to increase the minimum wage; which is a step in the right direction. Quality education is critical for Johnson County and its communities. Children are our greatest assets; their achievements and successes create communities where we all want to live. I will strive to increase funding for our rural schools.
