I was born in St. Louis and have lived in the small town of Seligman for over 30 years so I consider myself a local. My daughter graduated from Southwest High School in Washburn and my granddaughter is attending there now. I obtained a Business Administration bachelor’s degree from Columbia College of Missouri in 2014 and have had a great career in corporate retail. I have had the privilege to travel the world and met many people from diverse cultures. That travel helped me realize we are all humans and should treat each other as such no matter our differences.
When I decided to run for the Missouri House of Representatives my family and friends asked me why I was willing to stick my neck out and put in a lot of hard work knowing full well it’s a steep uphill battle to win in Republican territory and my answer was:
IT’S NOT A DEMOCRACY IF THERE IS ONLY ONE PERSON TO VOTE FOR!!
