I am a retired teacher and school counselor who would like to represent you in the MO House District 156. I'm a native of Taney County and grew up in Forsyth. I currently reside in Branson. I graduated from Forsyth High then earned my bachelor's degree in education at Missouri State University; my master's degree in school counseling at the University of Missouri--Columbia; and my doctorate in educational leadership and policy at Vanderbilt University. As a retired teacher I was surprised to see over 120 K-12 education bills pre-filed for the 2022 legislative session. Most were not supportive of public education. The incumbent, Brian Seitz, has been named a "School Choice Champion" and I feel we need a "Public School Champion" in the Missouri House. The incumbent has also described himself as "probably the rightest of right-wings within the Republican party right now". I think extreme partisanship on both sides of the aisle is what is wrong with politics today. We need to replace party rule with the Golden Rule.
As we enter the home stretch of this election, if you are able to make a donation to my campaign, I would sincerely appreciate it!
