Dr. Jacque Sample, a 25-year resident of Boone County and occupational therapist is a Democratic candidate for Missouri House District 44. The district covers a portion of Northeast Columbia, Hallsville, Centralia, and Sturgeon.
“As an occupational therapist for the last 20 years, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals and their families to determine their areas of greatest need, and worked in collaboration with these families to effectively address those needs in a timely and cost-efficient manner,” said Sample. “Running for state representative gives me the ability to serve my community on a much larger scale.”
Sample currently provides private occupational therapy services. Prior to this, Sample was employed by the University of Missouri- Columbia as a clinical instructor and Program Director.
“I am thrilled Jacque is running in the 44th,” said Bondi Wood of rural Boone County. “She has experience in healthcare and education, both top priorities for our under-sourced, rural communities.”
“Jacque Sample is the kind of representative the 44th district needs, and frankly deserves,” said Chuck Graham, former State Senator from Boone County. “She’s brilliant, tenacious and will fight for the people of the district because she will actively listen to their concerns.”
