About Jeremy Dean

Jeremy Dean is a lifelong Springfieldian, proud product of Willard Public Schools, and current State Representative for Missouri’s 132nd District. At 27, he brings a fresh, community-rooted perspective to Jefferson City—grounded in real‑world experience and a deep commitment to everyday Missourians.

Raised in a middle‑class, two‑parent Christian household in Northwest Springfield, Jeremy learned the importance of compassion, hard work, and community at an early age. Today, he carries forward those core values of service and fairness.

Jeremy’s path into public service wasn’t through politics—it was through people. He spent six years working in healthcare, starting as a medical secretary in a family medicine clinic and eventually managing operations at a busy OB/GYN office. There, he saw firsthand how policies crafted at the Capitol affect the lives of families across our state—from access to care to affordability and dignity in treatment.

In 2023, Jeremy joined the Drew Lewis Foundation as Director of Operations, helping lead community-driven efforts to break the cycle of poverty in Springfield. Through this work, he’s helped manage neighborhood programs, build coalitions, and support families working hard to build a better future.

Deeply engaged in civic life, Jeremy is serves as a board member for the GLO Center, is an active member of the Grant Beach Neighborhood Association, the North Springfield Betterment Association, and has served on the City of Springfield’s Place Team—collaborating on ways to strengthen the heart of the city he calls home.

In 2024, Jeremy was elected to represent District 132 in the Missouri House of Representatives. He currently serves on the Economic Development, Rules – Legislative Oversight, and General Laws committees. His work is focused on building an economy that works for working people—not just the wealthy and well-connected.

Jeremy is driven by a simple belief: everyone deserves equal protection under the law, the right to make decisions about their own body, and a government that works for the many—not the few. He doesn’t believe in punishing success—he just believes more people should have the chance to achieve it.

Whether it’s fighting for fully funded public schools, standing up for fair pay and strong benefits, or protecting the will of Missouri voters, Jeremy brings passion, authenticity, and an unwavering voice for the people who are too often left behind.

As he runs for reelection, Jeremy is focused on three core principles:

  • Upholding the will of the voters
  • Fighting for working people
  • Building a fair economy
