Designed by Damian Blake, the phoenix rising out of the flames of burning books is inspired by the logo of the Phoenix Society, Kansas City's first gay rights organization. Ex Libris is latin for "From the Library of" Historically, Ex Libris Book Plates were pasted inside the front cover of books to denote ownership.
Let's send the message that the Missouri legislature does not get to choose what books the public can read!
