[FAYETTE, MO – Tuesday, April 16, 2024] – The Joe Jefferies campaign is thrilled to announce two signature events to energize supporters and ramp up grassroots efforts for the upcoming electoral season.
The weekend will kick off with a glittering bang at "Boots the House (of Representatives) Down!" This campaign kickoff event promises an electrifying, family-friendly drag extravaganza featuring local talents like Liz Anya and May O'Naise and guest speakers, including Yvonne Reeves-Chong, Vice-Chair of the Missouri Democratic Party. Attendees are invited to The Tricky Fish in Fayette, MO, on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 6:00 PM for an evening celebrating diversity, creativity, and progressive politics.
Continuing the momentum, the "Grassroots Organizing and Canvassing Kickoff" on Sunday, April 21, 2024, will empower volunteers with the tools and knowledge for effective campaigning. Starting at noon with a candidate meet and greet and training beginning at 1:00 PM, also at The Tricky Fish, participants will engage in hands-on training with the latest canvassing technologies and strategies before putting their skills into action with an afternoon of phone banking and door-knocking to connect directly with the community.
